September 2011 at a glance

Well I can see how mom's get nothing done when child number 2 is around since I am finding it hard to do things just with one child!  I thought while the little one is sleeping I would try to get caught up on some photos and videos.  I realized I haven't been taking many pictures recently either.  We are all doing well minus having our first colds of the fall season.  I must have gotten it from someone at work and now I seem to have infected my lovely husband.  Thankfully Braden hasn't seemed to have gotten it.  I'm not sure how since I've been hacking and blowing my nose for over a week but I am thankful he hasn't.

September 4th
Labor Day weekend I worked but my family got together at my parents house.  They celebrated labor day as well as my Aunt Barbara's birthday.  The weather was great.  I wish I could have been there...darn job.  Todd and Braden went to celebrate in the festivities without me.  These are my sister's pictures.
Nephew and Niece (Cameron & Makenna).  So cute, I can't believe how big they are!

Everyone hanging out in my parents backyard under the gazebo.

The birthday girl!

Looks like the kiddos are having rootbeer floats!  Yummy!  That brings back memories.

Braden is getting a front row view of the blowing candles!  He's taking lessons.

Nothing too exciting just Braden hanging out in his swing.  He can get squealing pretty good!  I love his sweet smile.  Pictures aren't the greatest quality.  I hate the lighting in our house.  It always seems dark and I always get shadows....urgh!

September 10th
We took a weekend trip to Yakima to celebrate Grandma Joye's 80th Birthday at my in-laws house.  The  weather was in the triple digits which was really almost too much for me with a little baby who is always hot!  We had several covered tents in the yard for shade plus Mike and Joyce's house with AC but there were I believe over 50 people there.  What can you say Joye is a well loved lady so she deserved a party to remember.  She knew that immediate family would be there but did not know that extended family would be showing up as well.  The extended family came about an hour after the initial gang to throw her off.  It worked!!

Taryn with Braden.  Poor guy his bodysuit got so stretched out that day due to the heat.

I couldn't get Olivia to look at the camera while mommy (Brenna) was holding her

The newest addition....Josie, Danielle and Brandon's girl

Christen side of the family

John holding Josie.  He loves to hold those little ones especially baby girls!  You can't blame him, they are so snuggly.

Pinata for the kids....Tylan was put to work holding the string.

The kids all lined up.  That thing took quit a beating before it decided to give up it's candy!

Somebody was smart and even brought a slip and slide for the kids to keep them cool.

sleeping like an angel and passed out from the heat!

Braden didn't get much nap time in that day but feel asleep in Daddy's lap!

The very next day Braden rolled over for the first time at Grandma Christy's house from his back to his belly while playing on the play mat!  I was only bummed that I didn't get it on camera and I was the only one who saw it.  Of course we couldn't get him to do it again for a couple more days.
