November 1, 2011

I made a visit down south to see my grandparents with my dad.  They hadn't seen Braden since he was a couple months old so I was way over due.

I had Braden in his borrowed exersaucer from the Robinson's (Thanks guys!).  He loves that thing.  It totally saves me when I'm showering or getting ready in the morning.

Braden crashed in Grandpa Dick's arms during lunch.  Oh I just love it when they are molding to your chest and sleeping.  Don't you just wish you could freeze that moment in time forever!!!

I wasn't sure if he would nap during our visit but I was able to transition him to the floor and he stayed asleep for a short while.

Braden and Great Grandma Ann.  She could hardly wait to get her hands on him!

There's my smiley boy!

We convinced Great Grandpa Bill to have a short hold too!

Halloween 2011

I have continued to offer and introduce Braden to different solid foods but he is still not interested.  Oh well just as the pediatrician says, when he's ready he'll be ready.  I figure I will eventually find a food that he likes.  The picture of the food on the face is a classic though.  These pictures were actually taken on october 22nd.

Braden's first halloween!!!!  We invited my parents over for dinner so they could see Braden in his Tigger outfit and then make their rounds over to the Lovinus household to see their other grand kids.

Braden sat in his chair with us at the table while we ate our dinner.

Such a cute face!

Our next door neighbor, Cathy, has a grand baby that is a week older then Braden.  She brought him over to show him off.  They didn't know exactly what to think of each other especially Braden when Adrian was crying.

Why is is so hard to get good pictures of kids.  I can't even tell you how many pictures we took of Braden.  He was always looking down or really anywhere but towards the camera!

Braden next to the pumpkin that I carved that day.

He was definitely intrigued by the pumpkin.  He loves to touch and scratch just about anything.  He's my texture boy!

My mother in-law, Christy, came into town for the weekend to celebrate her birthday with us.  Unfortunately when she has a weekend off then I work which is a bum.  Todd took some pictures of her with Braden at our house.

Christy wanted to get updated family photos taken during her visit so Cheryl arrange a photographer to take some pictures of us at a park in Monroe.  These are just a couple that were posted on the photographer's facebook page.....a sneak peak.....

October 8, 2011

My long time friend Brianne had her 3 baby and first boy August 29th!  We were all so excited for her that she was having a boy.  She didn't really want a shower of course being her 3rd child but I convinced her to allow us to throw a small gathering for her after Calvin was born so we could meet the little guy.

Calvin and Braden...too cute!

Braden grabbed Calvin's arm which was adorable even if he didn't to it purposefully.

Russell needed an older boy playmate.  He was stuck with the 3 girls but he held his own! Russell, Ellie, Lizzy, Gwen.

Becky brought her tripod so we could get a group picture.  How smart is she!  The old BHS gang with a couple missing.  Kristin, Angela, Erin, Brianne, Becky, Jenelle, and me plus kiddos

It was a good day.  The group keeps growing and growing with more on the way!
