Wedding Day May 15, 2010

Our Wedding was on May 15, 2010 in Snohomish Valley at a place called Hidden Meadows. It was a gorgeous day especially for May in Seattle area! We took the chance on having an option for an outdoor wedding which worked in our favor in the end. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect or gorgeous day! I hope you enjoy just a small sampling of pictures that I'm posting from our photographer Dana Pleasant. She is such a talented photographer!

My wedding cake turned out gorgeous. I got Laurie Danner's name as a recommendation from a gal I work with. It was a great reccomendation! Everyone thought the cake turned out gorgeous and tasted great too. We had no cake left at the end of the night!

I love this photo that Dana took. It's funny how you aren't sure how some will look but then you see the finished product and you are blown away by the artistic eye that your photographer had!

Our gorgeous wedding party starting from left to right....Darren (Best Man), Megan (sister & Matron of Honor), Alison, Todd, Kelley, Jenelle, Jason, & Andy. We are all looking pretty hot!

I got a great idea from a photography website for parasols. These were a great find and made for some fun photos!

My gorgeous flower bouquets were done by "The Petal and The Stem" in Mill Creek. I only wish I could have enjoyed them more then just the wedding day.

We decided to take all of our bridal party and family photos prior to the ceremony to capitalize on our daylight hours and not make our wedding guests have to wait for us. I'm glad we did it that way.

We had been married for about 20 minutes when this picture had been taken. I think this picture is so cute of us both.

Just announced as Mr. & Mrs. Christen! I can't imagine why we are happy?

Todd is laying the big kiss on me at the end of the ceremony.

It was a little breezy that day not bad but enough for my veil to take on a mind of it's own. I think it looks like an arm that is wrapping around Todd and I.

  1. Alison! You are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The artistic pictures are my favorites, too. I'm so glad you like that style. Your photographer did an amazing job getting just the right poses, too. Oh, and the parasols idea...BRILLIANT!!!
